Background

Meriton, founded by Harry Triguboff ('High-Rise Harry') in 1963, is Australia's largest and most successful residential apartment developer. Over more than 60 years it has built, sold and rented over 80,000 apartments and hotel suites across Sydney, Melbourne, Canberra, Brisbane and the Gold Coast. As a fully integrated developer-builder with in-house sales, leasing and property management, Meriton has remained privately owned (briefly listed in 1969, then bought back by its founder in 1973), keeping its finances independent of public market volatility. It maintains a 100% completion record and has been named UDIA NSW Developer of the Year multiple times.
